Background

I have always wanted to build a tree house (hasn’t everyone?) and I have been formulating plans for a while. I won’t be able to design it properly until I have a tree to build it in but here is a list of what I want it to include.

• A wood burning stove
  
  
• Probably a project in itself. I’ll probably build it out of a small oil drum
  
  
• A mezzanine floor with kids beds in
  
  
• Somewhere exciting for any nieces/nephews to sleep in when they come visit.
  
  
• A whisky cupboard
  
  
• A board games cupboard
  
  
• A balcony
  
  
• A pulley lift to get things up into the tree house
  
  
• I’ll probably rate it to take a person in a wheel chair for disabled access
  
  
• Bean bags all over the floor
