Background
After capsizing the GP14 my brother managed to twist it and pull a couple of panels apart; the boat was taking in water and must have got a little too heavy to right it easily. Ideally a boat should be kept indoors for a while to dry out before being repaired (especially in Scotland where you can’t guarantee enough days of sunshine in a row) so Rob tried clearing a space in the garage to put it in. Unfortunately there were too other projects in there at the time and there really wasn’t room. It fit, just, but there wasn’t the space around it to actually work on it. We were lucky enough to be getting new neighbours at the time who we knew and we asked if we could borrow their garage before they needed it. They agreed but we only had 10 days before they needed to move their stuff in. I had to work fast. -Diain |
